Education Program Disclaimer
While AMTA makes every attempt to present information that is beneficial to you and your massage therapy practice, the programs provided by AMTA are for educational purposes only and are not intended to cover every situation that you may encounter. You are responsible for ensuring that any new modalities, techniques, or products you use comply with your state's defined scope of practice for massage therapy. (See amtamassage.org/regulation.) Successful completion of an AMTA course does not assume proficiency in a modality or business practice. AMTA is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider and submits all courses for state continuing education credit, where appropriate. Badges
AMTA badges are required for entry in all education sessions, social events and Exhibit Hall at National Convention, Schools Summit, and other designated AMTA events.

Behavior Onsite
Attendees are required to adhere to all rules and regulations set by AMTA and/or the convention venue, including but not limited to all health and safety procedures. Any person who fails to adhere to event rules or who engages in disruptive behavior of any kind may be removed from the premises at the discretion of AMTA or the facility without any refund of fees paid or other compensation.

Children Under 16
No infants or children under the age of 16 are allowed onsite at any AMTA events. Proof of ID is required.

Use of Program Materials
Course handouts and other materials, whether in printed or electronic form, are provided for your personal education and use only. Please respect copyright laws and do not copy or otherwise distribute the handouts and materials you receive to anyone outside the course.

Photography/Video
By registering for and attending this event, you hereby give AMTA and its affiliates and business partners permission to use and publish any photographs and/or video images of you in future communications and marketing materials in any media or format without further payment to or consent from you. You hereby release AMTA from any claims, liabilities, and expenses that you may have in connection with AMTA's use of your likeness.

Release
By attending all or any part of this event, you acknowledge that you receive personal and professional benefit from attending this event and you hereby voluntarily assume all risk and responsibility for (1) exposure to communicable disease, (2) your own safety at the event, (3) complying with directions given by instructors, staff, or facility personnel, and (4) receiving a massage in class or engaging in any other activity, and YOU AND YOUR HEIRS AND ASSIGNS HEREBY RELEASE AMTA, THE FACILITY, EXHIBITORS, AND INSTRUCTORS FROM ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ECONOMIC LOSS, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, OR INJURY (INCLUDING DEATH) OR OTHER DAMAGES TO PERSON OR PROPERTY SUFFERED BY YOU, YOUR HEIRS AND ASSIGNS, OR YOUR CLIENTS AS A RESULT OF YOUR ATTENDANCE, PARTICIPATION IN A CLASS, OR INFORMATION RECEIVED AT THIS AMTA EVENT.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing and submitted to AMTA by email to convention@amtamassage.org. Cancel without penalty through July 31, 2024.
