Massage therapists supporting the cure

AMTA will be the official provider of massage therapists at Breast Cancer 3-day events in 2009. Benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the walks take place in 15 cities across the country. Each event has 2,000-4,000 participants and AMTA member volunteers will be on hand offering ten-minute chair massages after each full day of walking. Walkers cover 60 miles in 3 days and camp for 2 nights to raise money for a disease that affects millions of women worldwide.
