Join massage therapy students from around the country for a day full of professional development tips and resources to help you as you enter the profession.  Network with pioneers in the industry, successful practitioners and potential employers as you hone your interviewing and business skills to prepare you for the next stage of your career.

Kick Start                                                                        8:00 am-12:00pm

If you are a new massage therapist or a massage therapy student, this session will provide invaluable practice management and business information to help you “kick start” your practice.  Join AMTA for this fun, interactive, information-packed session.

A grand prize business development package will be awarded at the conclusion of the program.  No continuing education hours awarded for this session.

Networking Lunch and Introduction to AMTA             12:00pm-1:30pm

AMTA welcomes students to the AMTA National Convention to discuss the benefits of AMTA membership and how the Association can support career development.  Boxed lunch will be provided.

Student Tour of the Exhibits Marketplace                    1:30pm-3:30pm

AMTA opens the exhibit hall to students for an exploration of the top products used by massage therapists today and a sneak peak at those you can use to set your practice apart in the future. 

What’s Next: A Prep Session to Prepare You for the Exam           Presentation by Elan Schacter                                           3:30pm-5:00pm

Hear exam study tips, understand the content of the licensure exam, and the information about state requirements and getting started.
