COMTA Accreditation and Peer Evaluator Training Workshop

Consider this workshop “basic training” for schools and programs seeking to renew Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) accreditation, or to begin the COMTA accreditation process for the first time.  (Attendance at such a workshop is required within one year of submitting an initial application or an application for renewal.)  This workshop is open to persons interested in serving as off-site or on-site peer reviewers as well.  The workshop is designed to assist applicants in the preparation of the SSR and its submission (now using a paperless format) and to train peer reviewers in the examination procedures for self-study reports and exhibits with respect to COMTA’s accreditation standards. 

Cost for the workshop is $500 for participants from schools or programs seeking accreditation, $1000 for consultants, $100 for interested individuals, and free for those interested in becoming peer reviewers or seeking to refresh their understanding in light of the new process.  Further information can be found at www.comta.org.
