Companies like Groupon and Living Social are changing how consumers discover and patronize new businesses. Deciding to run a daily deal is a huge undertaking with many unexpected consequences. This session will discuss how to decide if a daily deal is the right approach for a massage practice, how to prepare to run a daily deal, and how to ensure that it is successful once people begin buying. If a daily deal is not the best strategy for a therapist, some of the same strategies and tips can be applied to in-house promotions to current and new clients.
This course is presented with a video and audio component.

While the State of New York has not made an official ruling on the legality of these types of discounts for licensed health care professionals, the New York State Office of Professions has expressed caution.
