Purpose
- This award is to be given to Chapters with the
most growth in membership.
- This award is selected by the most growth in
membership for that state based on National
Membership statistics.
History
- The Chapter Growth Award was founded in
1996; however, this award has been given since
1993 without appropriate approval from the
National Board.
- Has been given annually since that time.
- Award has been selected and kept unannounced
until time of presentation.
- Chapter is engraved on a plaque at the
National Office.
Qualifications
- Chapter will have most growth in year.
- Determined by the comparison of Chapter Growth
from the year prior and the current year.
- Calculated by the increase of both the number of
members AND the percentage.
- Census numbers are taken from the August 1
Census of each year including all member types
(students, professional, school, etc).
- There may be more than one (1) Chapter selected
in any given year.
