  • To openly honor recipients(s) who have contributed to an emergency and/or demonstrated outstanding service through their MERT team via community outreach or education events
  • To acknowledge and promote outstanding achievements deserving of said recognition by persons involved
  • To acknowledge team effort

History

  • Award established in 1991
  • To be given as needed
  • Recipient(s) name(s) are kept with the Chapter

Qualifications

  • Recipients(s) do not need to be an AMTA member(s) or massage therapists
  • There can be more than one (1) recipient per year
  • This award may be given posthumously
  • Recipients(s) are to have contribute to an emergency response situation, which may or may not include massage, or demonstrated outstanding service through their MERT team via community outreach or education events
