Outstanding Volunteer Group - National Level

Purpose

  • To openly honor a National Volunteer Group that has demonstrated outstanding qualities and/or service to the AMTA in their position
  • To acknowledge and promote outstanding achievements deserving of said recognition by persons involved
  • To recognize team effort 

History

  • Award established in 1996
  • To be given annually
  • Award is selected and kept unannounced until time of presentation
  • Award is given to one (1) Volunteer Group and all said therein per year
  • Volunteer Group names printed in Hands On

Qualifications

  • Volunteer Group accomplishment(s) exceed expectations in a timely and cooperative manner
  • Cooperation and team play displayed on Volunteer Group
  • Members of Volunteer Group are in good standing at the time of award consideration
  • This award may be given posthumously
  • This award may be given to a Volunteer Group who has completed a project to benefit AMTA or enhance the massage profession
  • Volunteer Group members may serve on more than one (1) Volunteer Group
  • Only one (1) National Volunteer Group will be selected per year
  • Volunteer Group members may be a past recipient of another Outstanding National Committee or Volunteer Group Award
  • Recommended by the Awards Committee
  • Approved by the Executive Committee
